Flag Football, Soccer, Basketball, Dodgeball, Rugby (Non-Contact), Volleyball, Team Building Games and so much more... Little Swans Sports is a great opportunity to participate in a varied program that is focused on enjoyment and building confidence. Every week the children will be encouraged to make friends, improve sporting skills and will have opportunities to develop their leadership and teamwork in fun games and activities!

Rugby FAQs...
Is Rugby Safe for my Child? YES! All of our sessions are non-contact and focus on skills such as passing, kicking and running with the ball. There will never be tackling in our sessions.
How will Rugby develop my child? Rugby is a fast-paced sport that requires agility, fitness, hand-eye coordination and kicking ability. Every session will be age-appropriate and designed to challenge the skillsets of the participants to continually improve technique and associated skills. Aside from physical development, all of our sessions encourage teamwork and social cohesion, developing leaders on and of the pitch.
Are Rugby Skills Transferable to Other Sports? Yes, many rugby skills are transferable. The most obvious would be American Football (Running with the Ball, Finding Space, Evasive Maneuvers and Kicking). However, many other sports can be aided by improving rugby specific skills; Agility, passing and hand eye coordination is transferable to Basketball and Baseball. Kicking is transferable to Soccer. Short fast paced sprints can help develop acceleration and overall athleticism which is so important in so many other sports. Finally, communication, teamwork and social cohesion, is so crucial in all sports and this is one of our core values to develop in the children.
Is Rugby good for kids? Rugby is great for kids, it is an amazing way to develop physical fitness, social skills and mental resilience. The kids have to think on their feet, strategize and problem solve at a fast pace. Removing tackling gives more confidence to kids whilst learning the sport that we love!
What are Rugby Sessions Like? Engaging, fast-paced and most importantly... FUN! All of our sessions are age appropriate and will challenge the participants with increasing difficulty as they get older and more confident with gross motor skills. (Never any tackling!) Every session will begin with a fun warm up game. Each week we will aim to develop a key skill important in rugby, that skill will then be the focus in a drill, for example a passing drill. This passing skill learnt in the drill will then be incorporated into the game that we do to finish the session. We want the participants to learn or develop something identifiable each and every session!
